Our second u/s was yesterday, and we got to see the most beautiful sight in the world...our lovebug's heartbeat!!!! I was just so shocked that was inside me (although my side effects have definitely prevented me from forgetting I'm pregnant!). Even though I've done this whole pregnancy thing before, I've never been so aware of each and every step of the development. I mean, I saw this little one from the time he/she was only an egg. Since we had monitoring appointments prior to ovidrel triggering, Mike and I got to see our 22mm egg prior to all the action. How incredible. All measured perfectly in the u/s, and lovebug was measuring 6mm in size (as shown by the little X's on the white blob below). Isn't that an amazing miracle that something so small can come out measuring 18-22 inches after 9 months. Wow!
I'm also feeling pretty awful lately. I am nauseous, exhausted, dizzy and have major food aversions. I haven't been able to workout since Friday...yes me...workout freak...not since Friday I said!!! So, those of you that know me are saying right now, "she must be going mad". And my answer is YES, I am! I have now joined the zofran clan and am hoping this, mixed with lots of vitamins, might be the cure to feeling somewhat normal enough to teach. Here's hoping!
