Yes I called it "seven weeks in heaven" on purpose. A little play on words...so to speak...given that I'm elated to be pg...but I feel like complete butt.
God has such a sense of humor! Today I'm 7 weeks along. It's been a long week, as right around this time last week I started to go downhill, and fast. I began my 7th week feeling pretty good, but by the time I hit Friday, I was nauseous, dizzy, exhausted and no matter what I tried to eat, it tasted like chalk or metal. It was a very difficult weekend at our house. But, with the trip to the Dr on Monday, and the addition of zofran, tylenol, cappuchino and B6 to my morning regime....I've made it 2 whole days at workout without feeling like I might die. Ya me! Here are the stats for the week.

Lovebug's Stats:
Seven weeks into your pregnancy, or five weeks after conception, your baby's brain and face are rapidly developing (we're getting chunky baby fat:)). Tiny nostrils become visible, and the eye lenses begin to form. The arm buds that sprouted last week now take on the shape of paddles. By the end of this week your baby may be 1/4 to 1/3 inch (7 to 9 millimeters) long — a little bigger than the top of a pencil eraser. **note: on Monday, baby was 6mm...so we're right on!**
Mommy's Stats:
How far along?: 7 weeks
Weight gain/loss: haven't even attempted the scale, since I didn't workout for 3 days, my longest stretch in YEARS!
Maternity clothes?: Nope, but I'm running out of craft ideas to hide this bloat...people are talking!
Stretch marks?: nope. Moisturizing like crazy!
Sleep: Holy Dreams Batman! The books are right...those pregnancy dreams are vivid!
Best moment this week: ZOFRAN!!!!!!! Need I say more
Food cravings: not much, usually the food that's being talked about on the baby boards at the time (last night it was french fries with ranch dressing), my staples have been the coffee out of the ready-made cappuchino machine at BP (it's fat free but definitely not calorie free!), oyster crackers, smart-pop popcorn, & water water water, I ate my first veggies & fruits in a week last night (corn & an orange). It was a small miracle!!!
Gender: haven't thought about it at all this week
Belly button in or out?: in, should stay that way
Movement?: not from the baby...my stomach is doing flip-flops though...ugh! (ditto from last week)
Signs of Labor: Well I hope not!
What I miss?: POOPING! Sorry for the TMI. Zofran does curb the nausea...but constipation is a side effect...ugh! Like I'm not bloated enough!
What I'm looking forward to: finally being OUT at work
Weekly Wisdom: Zofran kicks butt! Oh, and time to get new bras and workout shorts :(
Weekly WTF: I hate every tolietry scent I use. All of the make me wanna puke in the morning. I need some unscented products stat!
Milestones: Saw the hb this week! Now our chances for m/c are less than 10%, some Drs say less than 3%, but I like to be realistic.
**Note: Can't wait to stop taking the progesterone! I know I mention that every week, but hell...I'm so over it!
