So yesterday was our elective 3D/4D ultrasound, and I was so excited to have something to share with you all today. This was our first try at a 3D/4D, since we elected to wait to see what Ty looked like the first time around. Since I'm pretty sure this is our last shot at it...we decided to give it a try with baby #2. Alas, the little lovebug wasn't cooperative...at all...so we walked away with not a DVD nor picture nor glimpse at that adorable (hopefully) baby face. ::sigh:: Both her arms were over her face, and the tech said even her leg was covering her face (supposedly she had her toes on her forehead...flexible little girl). However, it was almost worth the money to see the lady parts of said baby GIRL so I could know with confidence that our grueling, long hours working on the PURPLE nursery with the wainscoting were not for naught. Soooooooooooooo, although we have to go back Tuesday for another try, at least I can start washing the girl clothes and bedding, and not have to worry about sending back the wall art and decals I just purchased. We were getting kinda used to calling the baby "her" and "she" and by her name, so it would have been quite an adjustment to change our mindsets this late in the game. So such is life...we will try again on Tuesday. Stay tuned...............

Bummer! Good luck next Tuesday - hopefully she'll show you her cute little face!
I totally understand the relief of seeing the girl parts. I was having doubts about having a boy and finally asked my OB to double check which he gladly did. "There's the penis" was a good thing to hear!
